George Papamihail holds a degree in Business Administration and Masters in Technology and Innovation Management from the University of Hertfordshire, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
He has professional experience as an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Consultant, focusing particularly on youth and academic entrepreneurship. He has worked for the Foundation for Research and Technology (FORTH-HELLAS) and has carried out several RTD projects related to innovation, entrepreneurship and commercialization of research outcomes, by students and researchers. His research interests focus mostly on innovation policies and regional development models, as well as on practices related to Intellectual Property Management.
He was responsible for the ‘PEOPLE, FP7’ EU information contact point for S. Greece, and he is currently a member of the Greek and European EURAXESS Services Network.
George Papamichail holds a research fellowship from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), and he is a PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh.
He joined the group of coaches and he is responsible for SEV’s Entrepreneurship Support Structure of Crete. At present, he supervises 8 teams.
