Dr. Fotini Maltezou has extensive experience in the Energy sector and in multiple areas of responsibility such as Oil Exploration (Upstream), Crude Oil Supplies (Downstream), Corporate Communications, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Her professional, 26-year long, career path with Hellenic Petroleum (HELPE) is characterized by strong communications skills and experience of multidisciplinary and multidimensional work, within the Oil Industry sector, as well as along with professional societies, the academia, chambers of commerce, municipalities and International entities.
She is a Physicist by first degree (B.Sc. Honors degree from the University of Ioannina, Greece) and Geophysicist, by Ph.D, specialized in Applied Geophysics (University of Southampton, UK). She also undertook post – doctoral research at Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, USA. She is a certified Project Manager by the International Project Management Association (IPMA). Her applied research is underlined by a number of peer reviewed scientific publications and citations in International Journals.
