Mr. Argyris Katsimpiris is a senior sales and management executive with extensive experience in the energy industry, in Greek and multinational companies.
He studied Shipping in Athens and London. He continued his studies in Scotland and has a Degree in Business Economics (BA) from the University of Paisley and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Edinburgh (Edinburgh Business School).
In the beginning of his professional career he worked for the super market chain Prisunic Marinopoulos and for Mantzavino Wines in the export sector. Since 1987 located in the energy industry (Downstream – Marketing & Refinery) he worked at Mobil Oil Hellas SA and then at BP Hellas SA by helding positions: in sales (B2B-network retail management and development of new markets), in investment (design and development of retail network) in Marketing (coordination programs sales-training programs – advertising campaigns (ATL and BTL)- network Rebranding – new corporate brand campaign (Launch of New Brand), feasibility economic studies and market research to expand the sales network.
In his most recent position as General Manager of Hellenic Petroleum Group, reporting to the International Marketing Director of the group, he was responsible for the management of a subsidiary in Albania over the last four years. In the same employer previously has worked as a Commercial Advisor with responsibility for the reorganization of EKO retail network.
He has extensive and thorough knowledge of wholesale and retail fuel market in Greece and Albania. He speaks fluently English, Italian and Albanian.
